2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account Registration:
When you create a Loglime account, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Password (stored as a hashed value — we never store plain-text passwords)
- Phone number (optional)
- Restaurant name and type
- Business address and country
- Profile photo (optional)
Payment Information:
When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card numbers. We receive and store:
- Stripe Customer ID
- Billing address
- Last four digits of card (from Stripe, for display purposes)
- Subscription status and billing history
Communications:
When you contact us by email, phone, demo form, or support ticket, we collect:
- Your name and contact details
- The content of your message
- Any attachments you send
- Metadata about the communication (time, platform)
Customer Data You Enter:
If you are a Loglime customer (restaurant operator) using our platform, you may enter data about your own customers including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and order history. This data is governed by Section 6 (Customer Data) below.
Demo and Contact Forms:
When you book a demo or fill out a contact form, we collect:
- Name, email, phone
- Restaurant type and number of locations
- Products of interest
- Any notes or questions provided
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website or use our platform, we automatically collect:
Usage Data:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Links clicked and buttons interacted with
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- IP address and approximate geographic location (country, city level)
- Referral URL (where you came from)
- Search terms used within our platform
Log Data:
Our servers automatically record information ("log data") including IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and clickstream data.

- Google: When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.
- Stripe: Subscription status, billing events, and payment outcomes.
- Loops.so: Email delivery status and open rates for communications we send you.

- Creating and managing your account

- Setting up and configuring your restaurant platform
- Publishing your restaurant app to app stores on your behalf

- Improving platform performance, usability, and reliability

- Sending account-related emails (welcome, password reset, billing receipts)
- Notifying you of service updates, feature launches, and maintenance

- Sending demo confirmations and onboarding guidance

3.3 Analytics and Product Development
- Analyzing how users interact with our platform to improve features

6. Customer Data (Data You Enter About Your Customers)
When you use Loglime as a restaurant operator, you enter data about your own customers — their names, contact details, orders, and loyalty activity. This is referred to as "Customer Data."
You are the data controller of your Customer Data. Loglime processes it on your behalf as a data processor, under the instructions you give us by using the platform.
Our commitments regarding your Customer Data:
- We use it only to provide the Services you have contracted for
- We do not sell or share your Customer Data with third parties for their own marketing purposes
- We maintain appropriate security measures to protect it
- We return or delete it upon your written request or account termination
- We notify you promptly of any security incident affecting your Customer Data
If you collect personal data from your restaurant customers (names, emails, phone numbers), you are responsible for ensuring you have a legal basis to do so under applicable data protection law, and for providing your own customers with appropriate privacy notices.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services.

9. International Data Transfers
Loglime operates globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including countries that may not have data protection laws equivalent to those in your home country.
For transfers from the EEA or UK to third countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
- Adequacy decisions by the European Commission where applicable
- Binding corporate rules where applicable
10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher
- Encryption at rest: Database contents are encrypted at rest by Supabase
- Access controls: Access to personal data is limited to employees and contractors who need it to perform their jobs, under confidentiality obligations
- Authentication: Multi-factor authentication available for all accounts
- Payment security: Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which maintains PCI DSS Level 1 compliance
- Regular backups: Database backups occur daily with point-in-time recovery
- Vulnerability monitoring: Our infrastructure is monitored for security vulnerabilities
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy
Loglime's Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

12. AI Assistant (Zest)
Our platform includes an AI assistant named Zest, powered by Google's Gemini API.
When you use Zest:
- Your messages are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing
- Conversation history is stored in our database for context continuity
- We do not use your Zest conversations to train AI models
- Google's use of data processed through the Gemini API is governed by Google's Terms of Service and AI Principles
You can clear your Zest conversation history at any time from your account settings.
13. Third-Party Links
Our website and platform may contain links to third-party websites, apps, and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons.
When we make material changes, we will:

- Send an email notification to registered users
