This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the rules and restrictions that apply to your use of Loglime's Services. This AUP is incorporated into and made part of our Terms of Service.
1. Overview
Loglime's Services are designed for legitimate food and beverage business operators. We want every customer to get the most from our platform while ensuring that our Services are not misused in ways that harm other users, third parties, or the integrity of our platform.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Loglime's Services to:
Illegal or Harmful Activity:
- Operate an illegal business or sell illegal goods or substances
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Facilitate human trafficking, exploitation, or any illegal labor practice
- Engage in any form of fraud or misrepresentation
False or Misleading Content:
- List menu items that you do not intend or are unable to provide
- Provide false allergen or dietary information (e.g., claiming halal, vegan, or nut-free when items do not qualify)
- Misrepresent your restaurant's identity, location, or credentials
- Post fake customer reviews or testimonials
Platform Abuse:
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent free trial limits, plan restrictions, or account bans
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems belonging to other Loglime customers
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written authorization
- Introduce malware, ransomware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our platform without permission
Spam and Misuse of Communication Tools:
- Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to your customers through Loglime's notification or email tools
- Add individuals to your loyalty program or email list without their consent
- Use push notification features for deceptive or misleading promotions
Intellectual Property:
- Upload menu images, logos, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Use licensed music, imagery, or brand assets without proper licensing
Disruptive Use:
- Use the Services in any way that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services or the data contained therein
3. Content Standards
All content you publish through Loglime — including menu descriptions, promotional materials, images, and communications to your customers — must:
- Be honest, accurate, and not misleading
- Comply with food safety and consumer protection laws in your operating jurisdiction
- Include accurate allergen information where required by law
- Respect the intellectual property rights of third parties
- Be appropriate for a general audience (no adult content, graphic violence, or hate speech)
4. Reporting Violations
If you believe another Loglime user is violating this AUP, please report it to trust@loglime.com. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include suspension or termination of the violating account.
5. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning and request to remedy the violation
- Temporary suspension of your account
- Permanent termination of your account
- Reporting to applicable law enforcement authorities
- Legal action where appropriate
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation and to take appropriate action without prior notice in cases of urgent risk.
